Typical characteristics of sofu NP series products and their applications in cooling / refrigeration systems:

Ultra low viscosity volatile liquid


Different cooling systems will choose different freon and fluorinated liquid as refrigerants, which have low viscosity and are easy to volatilize and vaporize. For the characteristics of such system media, the selected transmission pump must have good self-lubricating property to maintain good reliability in the cooling system. In particular, after the cooling system is shut down for a long time, a large amount of gas may accumulate at the front end of the pump inlet. When the pump is started again, the pump needs to discharge these gases from the main circuit under the condition of no lubrication and dry operation, and the subsequent liquid will be sucked into the pump and pressurized into the working cycle. If the pump has no dry running capacity or self-priming capacity, it will not work properly in this system.

During the design of sofu NP series micro magnetic gear pump, the selected materials, gear profile and processing technology are repeatedly tested. Therefore, the whole series of NP series products can perform dry operation for up to one hour at high speed without any additional wear, and can pressurize the low viscosity Freon liquid up to 20bar for long-term stable operation.

In order to ensure the reliable performance of the products, sofu NP series products have been tested at the highest operating speed under the full dry operation condition.

 

High precision temperature control system


High end chillers also have high requirements for the accuracy of temperature control. The flow of traditional centrifugal pump varies greatly with the pressure fluctuation, so it is difficult to control the flow accurately. Because of the special pump body structure, the gear pump can accurately control the flow accuracy. It can be clearly seen from the figure below that when the outlet system pressure of the pump fluctuates by 0.5bar, the flow fluctuation of the centrifugal pump reaches 0.45m3/h even if the rotation speed is constant, while the flow fluctuation of the sofu micro magnetic gear pump reaches 4 bar, the flow fluctuation is less than 0.06m3/h.

 

Micro channel cooling system with small flow and high pressure


Microchannel cooling system refers to a cooling system with a flow channel diameter of 0.01-1 mm. Compared with the conventional liquid cooling system, the main feature of the micro heat exchanger is that the heat exchange area per unit volume is large. Accordingly, the heat transfer coefficient per unit volume is 1-2 orders of magnitude higher than that of ordinary heat exchangers. But at the same time, due to the reduction of the liquid flow channel, the outlet pressure of the pump will increase a lot, usually from the pressure of 1 bar, that is, the lift of about 10 meters, to 3-6 bar or even higher. The parameters of small flow and high pressure are most suitable for the performance of gear pump.

 

High withstand voltage


When some Freon refrigerants work, the system pressure is relatively high, reaching 40-60bar. Sofu NP series products with pressure resistance of 100bar are very suitable for this type of high static pressure system.

 

No leakage


Soufu magnetic gear pump adopts magnetic coupling, eliminating the dynamic seal that is easy to leak. In addition, NP series can provide all welded pump body without static seal. For highly integrated systems, low failure rate and maintenance free operation capability will bring great convenience to the system. Sofu series products use high-grade rare earth magnets as transmission parts, which can provide zero leakage service within the range of - 120 ~ 150 ℃.

 

Very wide temperature range


Soufu micro magnetic pump standard products can work at - 40 ~ 150 ℃, and customized products can work at - 120 ~ 150 ℃.

 

Customizable


NP series micro pump products can be provided with dry installation and submerged installation of pump head according to different needs of customers, and can be equipped with DC brushless motor, AC variable frequency motor and servo motor. The structure of pump body and motor can be customized. It can meet the requirements of different systems for product structure size, import and export orientation, power supply form and control mode.

In the actual use of the system, the magnetic gear pump needs to ensure the cleanliness of the liquid to be delivered. It is recommended to install a filter of no less than 400 mesh at the inlet of the pump. The nominal flow of the filter is 1.5 to 2 times greater than the pump flow.

The inlet pipe diameter, arrangement, subcooling degree, thermal insulation, pump working speed and other parameters of the pump have a great impact on the stable operation of the system using freon.
